Message PS. I cooked my brakes on my last Thill trip...only finished 3 of the 6 scheduled sessions. Check this out...

Brand new 13" Wilwoods w/ SL6 calipers and a medium grade wilwood pad. I took the pads down to about 1/16 or so - almost metal - after appx. 45 min. track time. Also, grooved the rotors like you would'nt believe (both sides) don't know if they can be turned or not - even melded metal into the cooling veins on those monster rotors - completely F-ed them up. The new fluid was dirty after 2 sessions, but when we went to change it out, the calipers would'nt even bleed - a couple drips was it. It was by far the strangest brake related issue I've ever seen. I put a call in to my Wilwood rep and asked him what he thought - he said it didn't make any sense given the variables (i.e.-size of kit, power & weight of car. He didn't think it was a lack of air flow to help cool either. I'm a little disappointed to say the least - still trying to wrap my brain around what happened. Is it plausible that the front brakes were doing 100% of the braking w/out rear brakes engaging? Maybe the master cylinder is not functioning correctly? Any suggestions???

Hopefully, I can get the issue resolved by Dec. 8th.
